Oct. 7, 2019: Our Lady of the Rosary

As we pray the Rosary, Blessed Mother helps us to listen to the one voice—the voice of God—instead of the thousand others, voices that distract us, lead us to misunderstandings, doubt, and fear. In our contemplation of the Gospel through the Rosary, we relive the loving trust, total surrender, and joyful giving of Blessed Mother throughout the life of her Son Jesus. As we hold Blessed Mother’s hand through the Rosary, she gives birth to this same spirit of trust and surrender in us. We become humble and docile to the will of God like Blessed Mother not insisting to know and to understand everything we face. This trust and surrender gives us tremendous freedom, and gives God the freedom to use us as His instruments.
